How do you get to the upper shelves in the cabinets?

I am thinking of something like this for my kitchen, cabinets going vertically up the wall to increase storage, but a simple step ladder will not do.

I would imagine that the upper shelves would serve mostly for storage of items you do not need often! In which case you would use more a builder's ladder rather than a step ladder.

Thanks. It seems a bit like high storage is more for looks than for purpose though but I get your point.

How do the doors open to the wall cabinets ? They would hit the angled ceiling ?
