Pendant lights over island - hanging advice

I'm planning to hang pendant lights over my kitchen island. Island is 1200mm wide.

The lights I am using are a bullet shape pendant 20cm wide.
Should I hang 2 or 3 lights?

I would hang two for a 48 inch island.

How long is your island? If over four feet I would suggest three lights.

Its 150cm if I include the 'breakfast bar' perch at the end. No idea what this is in feet and inches!

Two pendants would be enough. For those who want in feet/inches, her island is 60" long and 47" wide. The pendants are about 7" in diameter

So approx 5' long. If the pendants are 7" I would still go with three, but that's me. Good luck!
