Is there more cost involved with steeper roof line?

Is there more cost involved with steeper roof line like the one on this house? What a great house.. Have and will you design homes for people out of your territory? could a third floor attic/bonus room be put in such a home and still come in under 35 feet?(our city ordinance). Thank you so much for your time..

There would be slightly greater cost to a steeper roof due to the small amount of extra materials required. The roofing materials themselves drive the cost more than anything else.
