Need help with kitchen tile and paint color!

This is a garage apartment , so you will see the ceiling and walls have angles. Need ideas for tile and paint colors. We are not changing out the kitchen countertop. It was done in a neutral color corian. Too close to color of kitchen cabinets, but hoping the tile can help provide texture or would even consider beadboard. Thank you in advance!

That is very nice.
What about a bright coloured glass splash back? Red, black, navy, rose pink, maroon.!?
paint colour?! I would leave it the same as it is....looks great!

and if you are going to re-do flooring.- a plain cream large glossy tile.

Thank you for the comments. The kitchen cabinets and farm sink are beautiful. We installed in 2002. I picked up subway tile samples, but locally couldn't find the right color. It's a fun space. The hardest part for painting is going to be the paint for dormers and ceiling lines? I will post more pictures later today! Thanks again handyman and my perfect advice!
