New master bath reno chocolate brown floor - what color paint?
Comments (6)Like the color direction but think a much paler shade will keep it subtle and more contemporary...sort of watery......See MoreWould like to leave the cedar in my ensuite. Replace spa bath with bat
Comments (4)I must say this is not my style at all. I prefer clean modern lines. THIS IS A NEW CHALLENGE FOR ME from previous project I have tackled. I truly appreciate the comments, as they do help me. I plan on changing the spa bath with a normal bathtub & shower over with half frameless glass. By replacing the bath it will give me more space around the toilet.... This will also be replaced. The vanity I have is a wall hung unit in 900mm which will be facing the toilet & bathtub.... The reason for this is that I don't have much room where the window is for a mirror, this will fit perfectly in the space available above the vanity. (Mirror 900) size. Wasn't too sure what to do with the horizontal/vertical wall above tub. Thinking about tiling this wall. Floors will be tiled in a mid grey almost concrete polished look. The tiles between cedar & floor will be replaced in a textured black matt finish....See MoreUpdate bath with new paint and decor
Comments (19)Although always hard to interpret color on a computer, you also lack natural light in the bath which is making me see a lot of blue in the gray clouds. I think you need a warmer, "dirtier" gray like Worldly Gray SW7043. The gray clouds color next to the shower is fighting instead of bridging the gap between the tan/beige and your red based oak trim. Maybe try to find something more like the 4th color in the pear palette and add dark gray towels - a win-win as far as boys go. And, it would all tie back in to your vanity top....See MoreThe matter bath in our new home. Paint color advice. Also, the mirrors
Comments (6)That's good to know - lol. I think the tile is fine but it's that they used so much of it. If you hate it, by reducing the quantity, you may like it better. Could you remove the tile on the back wall and even near the shower - it could really make a big difference. May mean drywalling if tiles don't come off well, but it might be worth it. Then go with the same white as the cabinets, so that the tall cabinet blends into the wall, as it's feeling very prominent and it will also make it modern and crisp....See MoreRocksnRust
