on the Hypertufa forum before. I don't know
anything about it, just read some of the posts.

I think Mikotoo (sp?) made small boxes with this product. Don't know if she/he posts on the Hypertufa forum any more. Billie

I've used it on several projects, as a final coat on a biggish sculpture
and for all layers of a big hollow "winged ball" I'm still working on.

So far it's holding up very well. It's easy to work with in thin coats
and smoothes out with wet rubber gloves to a nice slightly textured surface,
when trowelled, you can get it very smooth.

It looks and handles pretty much like straight portland/sand,
I'm not really sure it's superior to that, I'm using it for consistency
and hoping the vinyl will add strength.

I used it to make a birdbath last month and though I couldn't tell much difference when it was wet, when dry it is dark grey, much darker than ones I've made using portland and sand. I guess I will prime it white before painting or staining it--an extra step. I won't use it again for that reason.
