I bought a couple of these at a big box store a few years ago, and have had very good luck with them!We found a few more at a thrift store (score) for a couple of bucks each. Problem is, they take several expensive batteries, usually changed 1-2x per year (the day after the batteries go dead the gophers show up!)
I heard someone at a garden class say that they had found solar ones for 9.99..........somewhere!
Has anyone seen these at this price? Used them? Had good luck with them?
I'm thinking of expanding my garden, and would love to go without raised beds in this area, but gopher free is a must! If I can find a few of these I will experiment this summer with some veges not in the raised beds
Thanks, Nancy
