I forgot to add that I am looking to buy 25-30 pounds.

If you have had no disease problems, you should be good to plant your left overs. The on-line vendors are going to be expensive. If they have been carrying your cultivar in your area, maybe you can find another local business that carries them. Worth a few phone calls.

I have called almost everywhere in a 50+ mile radius. I am having no luck. The place I have got them locally just got a new manager. I also usually go and ask them to order them. This year I forgot to do this. Double Whammy! I won't forget that for next year. I already wrote it on the calendar.

Farmerdilla- I didn't have any disease, that I know of. Thanks for info. If I did plant them, some have some really long sprouts, 2-12 inches. Do I just break them off and they will regrow? Do I just find some that are smaller? I have grown lots of potatoes, just always from new seed potatoes every year.

Thanks,

Jay

I would break off any sprouts over 4 inches. Here is a list of Minnesota seedpotato producers who list All Blue. They are of course wholesalers, so I doubt that any of them would sell sell less than 100 lbs. You might be able to contact the vendor that your local supplier uses.

I would definitely plant your left overs, it is common practice to save some potatoes from your last harvest in the UK and ireland. They claim a better product and harvest,.

These folks in Colorado have a very broad selection of tater seed and I think ship bulk quantities. They also produce their own seed and are very concious of what they do. I've bought from them for many years and have always been happy with what they sent me.
