ok I am an adoped southern, I would like to know what is the rudabekia kin to? I have just learned to cook it, I know its a root etc. but could anyone tell me what its kin to?
Kin to cabbage maybe?? thanks for the answer. Mary Grether
Well since this is a vegetable forum I'm gonna guess that what you are really asking about is the rutabaga - the vegetable related to the turnip and in the brassica (cabbage) family - rather than rudabekia which is a perennial flower in the echinacea family, right? ;)
Dave, thanks, yes I am looking for the veggie, and now see? I didn't realize there was a flower of said name. Wow! what we learn on this forum!! again thanks. and will look at the link. Mary
