I needed to replace a packet of romaine lettuce seeds since I inadvertently spilled the contents of the previous package I open all over the place.

When I was at the hardware store today scouring the seed

rack for romaine lettuce, I saw a packet of khol rabi

seeds. Until recently I've never heard of this vegetable.

I've never eaten it nor used it in cooking; I'm curious as to what it tastes like so I figured I'd give it a shot with planting it. The variety is called "early white vienna".

I am debating getting a 20 gallon container. My question

is how many plants could I fit in a 20 gallon container? I would like to know how many plants can be planted in a 20 gallon container after they've been thinned and without overcrowding them.The type of container I would be using would be a big storage tub and it'll be cylindrical with the shape.
