My question is if my whole house is painted neutral colors that coordinate, and I want to paint a bedroom a blue color, will that look odd with the rest of my house that is taupe colors? If it would be ok, how do I know which blue goes with the taupe colors so that it won't look odd? I just want something different besides taupe all over, but don't want to make it look too odd. My home is a new traditional style home and I don't want to hire a decorator, but I wan't it to look like I did. :) I could use another taupe color and just accent in the blue, but I really want blue walls! Thanks!
