We're doing a complete kitchen makeover and is debating tile vs. hardwood. We will have tile in the mudroom from the garage to the kitchen as well as in the entry from the main door. However the rest of the house is hardwood. We plan to open up the kitchen to the dinning room area and the family room with fireplace and is not sure if we do tile in the kitchen it'll look not continued with the rest of the house. However if we do wood in the kitchen we're afraid it's harder to maintain...please vote!
