Planted Marigolds, Giant rabbit Misses Garden

Maybe even the smell of small marigold plants scare the bunnies away. I planted a row in front of my garden and around the sides, usually bunnies eat everything down to nothing inlcuding my pumpkin leaves, although I can't prove this was a bunny who ate the leaves. Last year, no damage by bunnies, just my green beans.

My green beans haven't surfaced yet, or aren't tall enough to see. There is only about 6 plants, still the bunny didn't enter the garden, didn't eat down the cabbage leaves, although they are only a few leaves on and no head starting yet, but a full sized bunny? Not eating anything? It may be true that marigolds scare away bunnies.

Is anyone else having no problems with usig marigolds in their garden?
