fertilizer recommendations

Afternoon all,

After my new neighbor built his house and clayed over my garden area that I've been using for the last 15 years, I had to start all over from scratch again. It's officially a no man's land under existing telephone wires, but what he did was still pretty rude. A strip of 5x25 feet, which it's perfect for my needs.

I added about 6-8 inches of fresh top soil, rich in organic material, so the landscaper said. (I'll give the neighbor the bill when I see him.) On top, I have landscape material and the area has been weed free. All this took place about a month ago. I planted, and all plants seem to be doing well at this point.

Finally my question is: When planting, I sprinkled some 5-10-5 within the neighboring soil around each plant. Now, month later, I figure I should start a fertilizing schedule for my crops. They consist of tomatoes, a variety of peppers, pole beans and cukes. All are doing well, but i need fertilizing suggestions for the new soil with the material covering the beds.

All suggestions are welcome.

Sorry for the long post but hopefully it's a successful recuperating story in the making.

Many thanks and be well,

elliot
