Pruning a tree when the leader is damaged

Hi all,

I am using the modified central system to train my persimmon tree. It is about 2 or 3 years old. The central leader was damaged last growing season, so the top 2 scaffolds are actually taller than the leader now. How should I prune it in this case? Should I cut the top 2 scaffolds back to 2 buds so that the leader is taller than them? Thanks.
