Clematis in the right light

I've found Clematis to be difficult to really capture properly - the petals are often to thin to reflect their proper color when photographed. I took this one by placing a clematis bloom on a moss covered rock & taking the photo just as the sun was setting. They really are one of my favorite flowers. - jenndes
