    I know I've only been here for a short while, but even so, I feel totally justified in saying this:

    Please stop spamming your blog link.

    If people want to visit, they will, but what do you have to gain by continually posting your link? Do you need more site hits? I don't get it.

    6 posts in different threads on different forums basically just to get hits to your blog is kind of excessive, don't you think?

    If you can't stop, then please... at least cut back. Go on a blog spamming diet. Please, and thanks.

    I agree with spaghetina. To make matters worse, he cross-posts the same spam to several of the sub-forums at the same time. That is a violation of the terms of service.

    Quote:
    Often a topic is appropriate to more than one forum. For instance, a question about growing roses in Minnesota would be appropriate in both the Roses Forum and in the Northern Gardening Forum and could be posted in either forum. We ask that you do not submit the same posting to more than two forums. End quote.

    Enough already Steve! Add a link to your blog at the bottom of your posts if you wish, but please stop the topic spamming. It's really annoying.

    I was wondering when someone would say something.

    Steve,

    I think it's great that you were able to garden in a balcony without much sun and you are obviously a determined gardner, but I have to agree that constant posts about any new change to your blog on every forum is just too much.

    I keep clicking on them to see what the subject of the post is or if there is something relevant being talked about and it's just links to your blog over and over again. It is a bit annoying.

    While we're at it...

    Your "Monster Cherry" tomato isn't a monster. It's a ridiculously leggy thing in too small a pot and your "Hyponex Experiment" isn't an experiment without a control.

    *smacks you upside the head*

    Woahh... harsh. I guess this would be a bad time to introduce *my* new gardening blog.

    Since we've never seen it before, your post makes little sense.

    Yeah, that was something else I thought about... what if everyone did it? There wouldn't be many topical posts left. There is an on-topic forum for posting that sort of thing to: The Garden Photo Gallery.

    And as I said before, I wouldn't mind seeing blog links at the bottom of your posts. That way one could click on them if/when they choose, rather than getting tricked into clicking on a spam-ish thread.

    Stuff like this happens when you're drunk. I have been in a lot of pain the last week or so & just got diagnosed with Bursitis.

    and all of the other posts this spring and summer?
    Just stop please.

    Steve,

    Very bad posting etiquette, at least give us a couple of sentences about what's going on that may or may not interest us enough to go look at your blog. Just posting your blog link is like an "I made you look", bad joke. We trusted that you were going to share something interesting and then got nothing.

    You really need to stay away from the posting when you have been drinking, you don't use good posting judgement at those times. You really should be more considerate of the other forum users and stop pushing your blog. If you put up posts that people feel are interesting they will visit your blog, but not if you try pushing it on people.

    It may be a good idea to try to limit yourself to responsing to other peoples posts and not post any new threads for a while, to give everyone a little break.

    Good gardening, Mary

    Yes..."demon likker" made me do it. ;-) Here's a post to make up for it...

    The Fruits of my labor, being grown:

    San Marzano Organic Tomatoes:

    {{gwi:40554}}

    {{gwi:40555}}

    Early Girl Tomatoes (Best ones on the plant I thought wouldn't make it through my move):

    {{gwi:40556}}

    {{gwi:40557}}

    Cherry Tomatoes (some of these "Monster Cherry Tomatoes" have been very close to 1 and 1/2 inches wide):

    {{gwi:40558}}

    {{gwi:40559}}

    {{gwi:40560}}

    How many can you count in this picture? There's 5 clusters of them just on this branch of the plant...
    {{gwi:40561}}

    Some peppers:

    {{gwi:40562}}

    {{gwi:40563}}

    I'd show the herbs too, but that'd be a long post. ;-)

    Peace - Steve
