crown problem with squash plant

I have a zucchini in a decorative pot. It appears the plant had damage to the crown, as there isnt a crown anymore LOL!

Anywho, it is very healthy with big leaves, and no crown, will it pop up a new crown or should I start another plant? I have never run into this before LOL!! Anywho, I still have time and seeds to do this, so Im not too worried. -cass
