Hello all,

Was curious to see if anyone around the 5b zone has harvested any celery.

I pulled one up yesterday (Ventura celery is the kind). The plant was in pretty bad shape (like most of the other plants) because they just didn't grow very tall and the stalks are pretty skinny.

After pulling the leaves off, there was only about 2.5 ounces of usable celery.

The celery was quite crunchy and seemed to have a sweet taste to it. Was pretty good although a little on the fibrous side - even though I have been watering these things almost daily!

Thought I would see how others faired and if they've harvested any yet.
