The no longer is an ideal height for beds. For years they would be 24" off the floor. Then mattresses started getting thicker and the height grew from 24" up to 30" and higher. I personally like the bed at 30" as it is easier to make but if you are short it will be harder to climb into to sleep!

Check the measurements on the packages.
