If this is the Spring Satin Plumcot, it would need pollenizer that blooms at the same time with it. You can graft a pollenizer to it or plant side by side along with it.

Pollenizers would include Japanese plums and Apricots. Make sure to ask your County's Agricultural Extension office to find out what kinds of Japanese plums or apricots are productive in your area.

If it were mine, I would have grafted Apricots and Japanese plums to it. But in my case, I grafted the Spring Satin to my pluots where apricots and japanese plums are also grafted. i suspect that pluots are also good pollenizers of Spring Satin, perhaps Apriums too. Now I will never prove for sure who will "father" the fruits on Spring Satin next year (unless a court order for DNA testing is made, just like the child of a tabloid figure).

I tried my hand in grafting but i never have any luck. Iv'e tried another type of plum and an apacot with no luck. All i keep doing is bruising my trees.So i give up, Its an art that i will never manage to do.
