Cherry tree issues

Hi. Been a lurker for awhile, but couldn't quite find an answer to my cherry tree problem so far.

I have a small tart cherry tree. It's been in the yard for about 6-7 years, doing very well, blossoms and fruits well and profusely, and, except for keeping the birds from eating all the cherries, we've never had any pest problem with it.

This year however, it's got some problems. First, I noticed some little black aphids (black cherry aphids, I believe) on the little new leaves at the tips of branches, curling the leaves up.

But there also seems to be a problem with some leaves and fruit wilting in spots. The leaves turn kindof reddish/brown and wilt, but don't turn hard, like in fall. And the cherries wither up. But it seems very selectively to happen. Like it will affect the end of a branch, but not the rest of it, or one little branchlet, while the others next to it are perfectly healthy.

I also have found 2-3 leaves that have been doubled over and sealed, with a little white, black-headed caterpillar like thing inside.

Could either the aphids or the caterpillar be causing the wilt? Or maybe a fungus? It was fairly wet and cold here for about 2 weeks in early May.

So far both the aphids and wilt seem pretty sporatic and small (less than 3-5% of the tree affected).

I have pictures of the wilt and aphids (not the caterpillar though. Couldn't find another one) I'll add them when i figure out how to post them.
