I`ve acquired some pepper seed, Cascabel by name, and have got 1 plant in a container. This plant produces light yellow, slightly squat,1-2 inch pendant fruits shaped similar to a short cayenne. My question is, whether or not there is another, similar sounding name which exists for this pepper. I have been informed that it may be called Cascabelle (notice the double `L`), and may not be a sweet variety, but, mildly hot. Anyone hear of this discrepancy in the name? I think this pepper is kind of rare and would like to save the seed, as, I love hot peppers, only, I don`t want to go to the trouble if this is a sport, or worse, a hybrid. Thanks
