Dwarf Kieffer pear tree branches

I planted 2 Kieffer pear trees last year, and 2 Bartlett pear trees (all dwarf). One of my Kieffer trees has 3 branches that are all drooping to one side of the tree. I have all the trees staked with ropes for support, but do I need to support these branches that are drooping way down ?

They are not near the ground yet, but I'm not sure if this winter I should prune them back some or not as well ? The tree was leaning a little to one side so using the stakes I pulled it back some and now have one of those drooping branches pulled back more to the other side.

The other Kieffer has about 9 pears, and this one has none but growing really well.

I've seen where pear trees get trained with wire etc, not sure if that's what I need to do.

Thanks,

Mark
