Hard to say without being there.

Upstate in Delaware county we got late late frosts that took out most of our apples, plums pears cherries. Even the leaves got frost killed. The trees 40' higher up the hill have little damage. We have to thin them out.

Yes, we got a late frost just when the flowers had been out a week or so & we lost ALL our fruit this year: peach, apricot, plum, cherry & most of the apples. The fig, grapes & pomegranates were later so at least we will have them! Oh, my Mom's Jonathan tree just across the alley is loaded with apples though ... it is a strange thing as it bears seemingly only every other year .... and this was THE year!
