Push mower idea

So I have had an idea floating around in my head for a while and I was wondering if some of you might give me an honest opinion on this idea. The idea is for a push lawn mower that can have the blade swapped for an impeller and a shroud to cover the blade opening with about a 10" hole in the center for air induction. Then an air directing chute would replace the normal shroud and you have yourself a nice walk-behind leaf blower and a lawn mower. Please share your thoughts...I have thick skin. Thanks!

Everything would have to be re-designed including the flywheel weight to match any impellor. Companies don't get involved in re-inventing the wheel when there are appropriate machine out there.

At first I thought you might be re-inventing the Flymo.

Design and fabrication of the impeller would be a challenge. How would this work as a lawnmower with the blade opening reduced to a 10" circle?

buy a gas blower, take off the tube, set the sucker on a two wheel hand truck...walk..
