Because the tiles are so tiny, there's a lot of grout lines on the shower floor, so that would keep the floor from being too slippery...

Grout lines increase the COF (Coefficient of Friction) which increases slip resistance. Therefore, small mosaics of shiny glass or marble, are often more slip resistant than a larger format dull and smooth porcelain tile. john@FioranoTile.com Fiorano Tile Showrooms NY

I think I am better explaining COF than my thoughts and feelings. (You have to be an expert in SOMETHING) :) BTW Cynthia, it appears that since that glass tile is so thin and of solid color, you did not need to employ a bullnose of finish piece where the glass meets the painted wall. That is a smart look and very good designing by you. Did you do the same for the niche?...just right angle it and grout it?
