My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What is the countertop made of? What tile is the backsplash?

    Hello. The countertop as well as the backsplash are made of Calacutta Gold marble. The backsplash tiles are cut as 3" x 6" pieces and the marble has an ogee edge detail and is 1 1/4" thick. I hope this helps!

      The Calacatta pricing is kind of in between the granite pricing. It will range anything from 45-70/sqft depending on the shipment. Make sure you by it from a reputed supplier. If you are near orange county, CA ; contact manjari@ollinstone.com . If not close, just email her and she will answer all your questions.

      The pricing that you are quoting is really more A-G granite levels and not anywhere near the cost of Calacutta Gold marble that you are indicating.
