Nice pond. I love your waterfall and stream. My stream didn't turn out so well, but I guess that's a project for future consideration.

For the plants, go to the link below and then look for "Plants" in the sidebar on the left. They have many plants and they specify which zones the plants thrive in. Many tropicals can be wintered indoors as a houseplant, also, so you have a lot of options. If you find something you like and they are out of stock, you may be able to find it at one of your local garden centers.

What is planted around the pond now? I see you have killed what was growing up the trunks of those two trees (ivy?)

Lizard's tail does nicely in partial shade. Golden club and pickeral weed. A waterlily. Thalia, variegated sweet flag, iris versicolor, coneflower, red cardinal flower, joe-pye-weed, pennywort, bloody dock, ferns, to name a few.

I would eradicate any english ivy, periwinkle or any other plant that might be growing alongside your pond if rampant and non-native. Start with a blank slate maybe.

That was english ivy that is dead on the trees. It was beautiful climbing the trees and the rocks of my pond and it also filtered the water of the pond but it was taking over everything.I want to start over, I was just needing a few suggestions on plants for the sady area.
