sure that is hickory flooring?

hard to see all the details from the picture, but some of those boards definitely have oak grains. Hickory is usually lighter, but this could be darker because of the stain used.

It is definitely hand-scraped prefinished Hickory. Oak and Hickory have some similar features. Hickory has much more color variation

Hi- We live in Georgia (but my husband's from Michigan and we visit often!) and are planning to finish our basement. We really like the look of this basement that you did - can you please share the brand of floor that you used? Is it considered engineered hardwood flooring? Thanks so much for your help!
