I will be doing an off-white shaker-style kitchen with med-dark wood floors. I fell in love with Calcatta Gold marble, but after hearing about the maintenance issues and the wear & tear issues (and the cost), I know it's not a fit for my family. I'm wondering if you have any recommendations / inspiration photos of kitchens that use other light countertop materials? Important for me is low maintenance, takes regular kitchen use well, comes in between $40-70/sq ft installed. Any help is greatly appreciated!
