I'm envious.........I have tons of lotus aerials and not a single blossom.

How come sometimes the mantises are green and sometimes brown? This is funny..........the other day I visited my favorite local Wild Birds Unlimited store. I was walking around, looking at all the interesting stuff. I saw a metal sculpture of 2 praying mantises. But then I thought I saw 3. I looked closer and the female had the male's head in her hands and the male was headless. It was really funny, yet a bit bizarre!

I just noticed the reflection in the one petal.........what a great shot!

I knew about the female mantis biting the male's head off.........I just thought it strange/funny/curious that someone went to all that trouble to make a sculpture of it! lol!
