The first is pink turtlehead, Chelone obliqua speciosa.

The second might be spotted bee-balm, Monarda punctata? If not, then one of its relatives, and someone will surely tell you the correct one.

Agree on the first being a Chelone. Second is Monarda punctata, spotted beebalm.

I believe the first is Chelone lyonii, C. obliqua differs in that the leaves are more shallowly toothed. In agreement with spotted beebalm; both are natives here in NY.

Nice picture of Monarda punctata. It's easy to grow in sandy soil and will flower the first year from seed if started early.

I was looking to buy seeds for Monarda punctata but some vendors show purple flowers and others show this yellow spotted flower. They all use the same name. Do you think the seed grow true or is the flower color variable?

Anytime you grow from seed expect natural variation unless it is hybrid seed from select parents. I would consider the plants shown in the OP to be typical of the species. If you want more consistently pink flowers you might consider Monarda citriodora, though it can range from white to pale lavender in addition to pink.

kimpa, Lemon Mint (M. citriodora) has the pinkish-purple flowers you described. Spotted beebalm has distinct spotted yellow flowers accompanied by the soft lavender-pink to white bracts. I believe the bracts may fade a bit from sun exposure accounting for some variation in color. Below is a resource for m. punctata. Good luck!
