Epsom salt on plants

I heard that Epsom salts are good for plants and vegatables. How much do yall use on plants and veggies? On my veggies and plants do i sprinkle epsom salts around the roots, Do i put on as a foiler spray on the leaves or just the roots. Please explain!!

Epsom salts are a source of magnesium. Plants lacking in magnesium will have chlorotic leaves. It can be applied to the planting hole, the soil surrounding a plant, or as a foliar spray. 1-2 tbsp - 1/2 cup (depending on the size of the plant) is a good amount to add to a planting hole, and 2 tbsp per gallon of water to water the soil or to use as a foliar spray is what I've used.
