Snow blower repair

Yesterday just as I was finishing the driveway with my Craftman dual stage (4 yrs old) snowblower, the left tire went flat and it stopped moving. Both things happened similtaneously. Is there a connection between tire pressure and movement? What else do I need to check?

Fix the tire then try it.

My snowblower goes along for quite awhile and stops to propel itself.I release the handle and then on again a couple of time and away it goes.
I's very old.I own it now for twenty year and I got it second hand.No problem till now except belts.Can you please help me solve this problem.
