I bought a cheap garden cart from a local DIY big box store. It was CHEAP - flimsy, tires didn't hold air, poor fit and finish, had painted (not pressure treated) plywood. They didn't have a floor model set up, so I sorta bought it sight unseen. Dunno if it would be the same manufacture, but You Get What You Pay For.

I haven't seen one lately in Harbor Freight but now that you mention it, the wood looked odd. I will have to go back and give it a much closer inspection.

This has been one of the most useful tools that I have ever bought and yesterday, the front panel fell off when it broke through the fasteners. Guess the time to replace it is here now.

I do not know where to find one as good as the one I now have. It was a Garden Way I think.

I've got both sizes of the HF ones. Materials aren't bad, fasteners suck. Before you start, take the bag of fasteners to a real hardware store and replace them. A little headscratching and Jerry Rigging can make the gates a little more efficient. The smaller cart has hard rubber wheels that is much better (IMO).

When I got mine, I was googling and found several. One was 400 +/- bucks and was the same size as the big HF one that I got for 99 bucks on sale. The pictures on the web looked exactly alike and the description was the same. Couldn't have been more than a hardware difference if anything. I lot of places capitalize on the idea that EVERYTHING made in china is junk. I have a chinese made ATV that costs about a 3rd of what a compareable yamaha costs that has mostly japanese parts and the motor, shafts, lights, and a couple of other things are Yamaha.
