I have a Craftsman Garage Door opener that will not go down. Moves about 1 foot then goes back up. It will go down all the way if I hold the wall switch the entire time. Door moves fine when unhooked from the opener. The light is not lit on electric eye on the left. Does this mean the eye has gone bad? I have checked the alignment and wire connection they appear to be OK. Also on the wall switch there is a small light in behind the button that constantly blinks.

Any suggestion??
