Stihl string trimmer

Looking to find out how the flexible cable that runs from the engine output shaft to the head is connected. I can see how it connects on the engine side, but how do you remove the short spinning shaft (that the string holder fits over) at the end to attach the cable? Any help or diagrams would be most appreciated. Thanks.

The hub is not removable, replace it and the tube as an assembly.

Just as an FYI, the lower hub is removable. It is simply a pressed fitting. I used vice grip pliers and wiggled the hub out of the tube, cleaned up the fitting and regreased it. I then thread the cable through the tube (through the guide holes) and fit it into the hub before pushing the fitting back into the tube. A couple of medium taps with a hammer and punch and the the fitting went right in. Reinstalled the tube in the engine housing and reattached the guard and line spool and it worked like a charm. Saved $50 on a new assembly!
