Just leave it in the bin with a tarp tossed on top and secured. This will keep excess water from drenching your pile and prevent leaching. Keep the sides open for air penetration. Curing over winter should not cause your compost to loose anything. Your compost will probably freeze solid in the winter and not thaw until April 15 give or take a couple weeks. Why don't you use it? Dump it on your flower beds, lawns,etc. when it's ready.

Thanks for the responses. The reason I am trying to overwinter is that I will be building a number of new raised beds next year and want to have enough compost to fill them in the early spring.

The best time to build new planting beds for use next growing season is now. Plan ahead and have your new beds ready when the growing season starts, and that way you need not store your compost over the winter.
