Watering can rose?

Hello everyone,

Is 'rose' what you call the thingie that goes on the end of the spout of a watering can? I've been trying to 'google' watering can rose and yes, some things do appear, but mostly for watering cans with one rose. I'm hoping to get a rose that will spread the water over a wide area. Do you know of any source that sells roses? (I'm in Japan, but can have it sent to someone in Chicago, or if in the UK, to my sister-in-law).

Or any tips on what to 'google'? Thanks a lot!

Welcome to "Garden Web" You type better english than I do :(
anyways do search for watering cans on wal=mart K mart. or Sears and 'rose tip' sounds like a good name to me. They work well with clean water but clog up quickly with trashy water.

Not exactly sure what you're looking for, but if you Google "brass watering rose" some interesting links pop up. Good luck.

'Rose' is the correct name. I don't know of a source for one with wide coverage, but there is a large round shower head that might be adaptable.
