My Juristiction has adopted CA Green Code Title 24 Part 11 Section A4.303.2 which details the flow rate of all faucets to be used. Problem is, this includes a pot filler faucet above the stove, none of which are available at 1.8 gpm or less. I therefore proposed in my permit application to employ another section, A4.305.3, thus using water that comes from the pot filler (after use) as greywater, to be used for landscape irrigation. In essence, we will be throwing the water out the back door onto the weeds.
