Your collection?

I feel certain that there is already a thread for this, but I haven't found it. I'd love to see a list of roses everybody has in their yards, and it would be fun to hear each person's top three. I left a yard full of antique roses to move here, and I'm slowly building a collection from old favorites and new roses that catch my eye. Looking around, I see that I've amassed about 20 fairly basic varieties that most people have heard of and grown. I have room for several more, so I'm looking toward ordering some that are less commonly grown, but are still bulletproof. I don't have as much gardening time as I like, so they have to be rugged, independent sorts. :)

Right now, I have:

Duchesse du Brabant

Madame Joseph Schwartz

Safrano

Isabella Sprunt

Ducher

Skyrocket

'Maggie'

Margo Koster

Perle d'Or

Marie Daley

White Koster

St. David

Souvenir de la Malmaison

Kronprinszesin Viktoria

Hermosa

Sombrueil

Mutabilis (in pot, waiting for planting)

Crepuscule (ordered)

Madame Drioult (ordered)

I can't really properly pic favorites as I just put these in recently or this past Jan... so I don't feel like I've had them long enough. Some of them havent bloomed yet or are just tiny little bands.

But I will tentatively and ignorantly pic these three as my favorites for now based on other roses I've seen in person and based on what they're doing in their very short life so far with me:

William Shakespeare 2000 (just bloomed yesterday and I'm just stunned by how much I adore it. The color and the complex bloom is stunning)

Belle Storey - I got a larger plant of this (5 gall) I love the color change from bloom to mature flower and it's just a charming plant.

Sombreuil - My Sombreuil is just a baby right now and hasn't bloomed yet, but each one I've seen in person has stunned me.

I also have really high hopes for La France cl., Lavender Lassie, Penelope, Jude the Obscure, Madam Alfred Carriere, Alchemist... um... I can't seem to stop listing ones I'm exited about so I guess I'll leave it at that.

    The Collection (dun dun dunnnn!)
What I Have or Have Coming:

Great Maiden's Blush (will be rehomed this fall as it's not good for my mild winter area)

    Baronne Prevost (On it's way)
    Lavender Lassie (On it's way)
    Penelope (On it's way)
    La Reine (On it's way)
    Martha Gonzales
Grandmother's Hat (needs to be planted)
Mary Rose (needs to be planted)
Mme. Berard (needs to be planted)
Rita Sammons (needs to be planted)
Lavender Pink (needs to be planted)
Carding Mill (needs to be planted)
Queen of Sweden (needs to be planted)
Maman Cochet Cl. (needs to be planted)
    Alchemist
    Lyda Rose
    Madam Alfred Carriere
    Felicia
    The Prince
    William Shakespeare 2000
    James Galway Climbing
    Eden climbing
    Tiffany
    Reine des Violettes
    Sydonie
    Gloire de Dijon
    La France cl.
    Raubritter
    Sombreuil
    Compte de Chambored

My roses are on helpmefind under cweathersby. As with aimeekitty, my favorites are all gonna be from roses I've had a while - the others are still just too new- even at 2 years old!

    Favorites are different from best.
Best roses in my garden- for overall health, rebloom, shape, and fragrance - Isabella Sprunt, Safrano, Mme Lombard, Jean Bach Sisley, Cramosi Superior.

Favorites - mostly because of fragrance - Mme Berard, Francois Dubruil, Mary Magdalene, Jude the Obscure.

If you click on my name it will take you to my member site where I've listed all the roses I currently have. As for favorites I'd have to pick the following (leaving out the ones you already have):

    Le Vesuve
    Westside Road Cream Tea
    Lavender Dream
    Mme. Cornelissen
    Souvenir de la Malmaison Rouge
    Bermuda's Kathleen
    Spice
    Mr. Bluebird
    William R. Smith
    Reve d'Or

These are not only beautiful but have been very trouble-free for me, but so much depends on your zone and climate. The ones you've chosen already sound like a very good group.
