Long live McCulochs!

I recently resurected a old (1969) mac CP-55. All it needed was a rubber boot for the carb,were the carb connects to the cylinder.I got it, through the mail, at wallenberg sales in calif. He informed me that the older macs were rated at 5000 hrs. !!! WOW I was totally blown away by that fact.......I remember someone bragging about 3or4 thousand hours,and I thought that was real good,but wow 5000 hrs.? jesus.........
