Snow King with Tecumseh engines shuts down

I have a Snow King model 247.88355 I got from Sears about 5 years ago. It has a Tecumseh 5.5 hp engine. I have fresh fuel in the gas tank and fresh oil as well. It starts on the first pull but after just a few minutes shuts down. The more it is run the quicker it shuts down. It did the same thing the end of last winter, again with fresh gas. It is to large for me get to a repair shop. Any ideas what to do would be greatly appreciated.

You have fresh gas in the tank, but did you purge the line all the way to the carb with fresh gas and then ensure that the bowl was filled with fresh gas by either loosening the bowl nut or pushing the drain button? Is the main jet clear of all varnish? Is the choke working properly?

Check the holes shown in one of the jets that should match yours.
