What are the dimensions of the powder room?

We are gutting our house and plan on doing the same thing under the stairs but I'm worried it will feel very tight. As we want the door to be flushed against the stairs.

    This powder room is 3'wide x 5' long. Tiny wall-hung sink makes it work. You must be careful to allow headroom over the toilet.

    I'd like to expand a bathroom by put the vanity/sink area under the stairs- but am concerned that it will feel too closed in- what do you think the minimum necessary height is?

    Check code requirement in your local jurisdiction; I'd recommend at least 6'6" standing in front of the lav.
