I've had this tree for six or seven years. The golden chain"half" has always produced seed fairly prolifically while the chaemeral flowers always just drop. I made a serious effort to pollinate the chaemeral half this spring. It appears my efforts may have succeeded, for the first time it appears as though there may be seed developing.
My question is, has anyone had seed germinate that came from the chaemeral portion of this tree? If so what do the progeny Look like? I'm kinda excited about the prospect of "chaemeral" seed.
Thanks!
