Hi Kim,
We built this for a customer four years ago. It has an embedded steel frame and hinges that connect to the steel posts on both sides (then we made wood columns with lighted panels to cover the steel posts). If you'd like to discuss your project, please contact me at sales@360yardware.com. Thanks!
