In "Hart of the Garden" in the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, there are quite a few specimens of a large, fluffy, pretty rose that is blooming merrily right now. I *think* it is a China but could so easily be wrong -- that was just an impression. Scent is light but exists, flowers are ABOUT 3-4", double with about 15-20 petals, color is deep rose pink with perhaps a hint of coral, blooms are relaxed and blowsy, shrubs are taller than me, so maybe 6-7 feet. New leaves are burgundy and quite small and matte (I think).

If anyone just happens to know what that is, I would be interested. I may try to track it down through the fairgrounds staff, but now is not the time since the State Fair is on. (I am there today and tomorrow for a dog sports competition.)
