I can't remember which site I used for online buying of plants. I think I checked the various places that advertised in the aquarium fish mag.

Keep in mind that some plants are grown from corms or tubers. So don't be surprised if you don't always get fully grown plants as you might be expecting!! When I did have a planted tank, I found that growing the plants from corms and tubers worked out much better anyway. Took a little while to get the look I wanted, but they grew beautifully and rather quickly.

Just setup a 150 with a bog garden and drip wall attached,so have lots of room lol. Thought I might go with one of each or some of the assortments. Most of the listings are in 3 sizes but i always get smaller plants as my theory is if they grow they will soon be large and if not size wouldn't matter anyway.lol
Was impressed as they list what and how many in the assortments. Have never seen that before.
I may try the fabled Madagascar lace plant again but i'm afraid Florida is way too hot for them.Hate that dormant period!! They list Aponogetons in both plant and bulb form.Have never seen that before.
No use even bothering to look locally.Either npo choices,in terrible condition or way overpriced. Mail order seem the only answer. Thanks for the suggestions

Guess they ship theem both ways, already growing and bulbs. Probably better off with bulbs. I don't think that Madagascar lace is as hard as its made out to be. The leaves that disintergrate get replaced by new quickly. They do well with good flow for me, near afilter return or pump.

the problem I've had with the lace plant is long term. They grow well and even flower but eventually will go into a dormant period. They usually never recover. I'm sure one of the problems is the Florida heat as they originate from mountain streams.
I have 1200 gph flow on this tank lol Was going to make the seep wall at 5 feet but was too high. i diverted to a spray bar which runs the entire length but still seems very strong. Finally got the bugs out of the wall and it's only losing a gallon a day so should be okay.
May destroy all the CO2 but worth a shot I think.
