My water is pH 8 and 8 degrees kh/8 or 9 degrees gh..

I've never killed a fish in it yet but I'm wondering if there are really some that are really sensitive to alkalinity.

I won't play with the base line because it soooo hard to have the ph crash in this water. It takes a year of not cleaning and only topping off the water in a ten gallon tank for it to happen.
